The Storycard System
The Storycard system is designed as a rules-light diceless system specifically tailored for normal human level gaming. It uses point allocation for statistics as well as a merit system which allows the player to determine how often a given merit might come into play (this is always subject to the needs of the story and thus GM discretion, but the Player does provide a baseline).
The system also uses cards, from whence the system takes its name, which are awarded to players for fulfilling their Creed (player defined motivations). These cards can affect the larger confines of the story, helping and sometimes hurting) players who use them.
The Storycard system is a work in progress, it is currently in version 1.2.
The Game is designed to be modular. For the upcoming Ambercon 2007, I have selected two settings for use with the System: Buckaroo Banzai and the Complex. My use of Buckaroo Banzai for this convention game is in no way a challenge to the copyright holders of that property, there is no charge for the download of this portion (or any other at this point) of the material.
Buckaroo Banzai (to be added Friday Jan 26th 2007)
The Complex (to be added Friday, Jan 6th 2007)
